Every year since 1929, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has been celebrating cinema's biggest achievements in all sorts of areas, from directing to costume designing.
This year, some of the runner-ups for Best Picture include Guillermo Del Toro's 'The Shape of Water,' 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' and indie hit 'Get Out.'
The 90th Academy Awards take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
