CELEBRITY Jason mamoa

Sure, Jason Momoa is a magnificently attractive man who appears to be above any kind of infantile shenanigans, but book lovers beware, the man is twisted. During an interview on Good Morning America, his 'Aquaman' co-star Amber Heard casually mentioned that he would defile her reading material just to get her attention.

The actress ensured everyone that she loves him and that they had so much fun together, but she also revealed that he is "allergic" to being ignored, while she herself is a bookworm and enjoys reading during breaks on set. Momoa, jealous of the books' attention, proceeded to take far too drastic measures.

"He adopted this method of ripping out the pages of my book so I would pay attention to him," she said. "It would drive me crazy because I'd have 30 pages left and it would be gone."

If you feel personally attacked by this crime against literature, you are not alone. Here are some of the greatest Twitter reactions to this horrifying news.

"Just learned that Jason Momoa ripped pages out of Amber Heard's books for attention on set of Aquaman and he's now 33% less hot," one user wrote. "Sorry, I don't make the rules."

Another posted a clip from 'Parks and Recreation' to address Momoa on behalf of the book community: "Wow, okay, well, you know what we had a good run, but he's dead to me now."

The act was enough to actually reverse people's attraction to the star, with one user tweeting, "And with that the crush on Jason Momoa officially ends."

Others feel a little more conflicted about the whole ordeal...

One took a very diplomatic approach and wrote, "I'm not saying Jason Momoa's a bad person or whatever. I'm just saying if you rip pages out of any of my books, I'm ripping the pockets out of every pair of pants you own."

But that's not to say others aren't willing to forgive him.

His looks might save him this time, and Heard might actually think it was a cute and funny prank, but hopefully this serves as a warning to anyone thinking about committing such atrocities on the bibliophile community in the future.

Campo obrigatório
