There are plenty of wacky competitions around the world, and the Beard and Moustache Championships is one of them.
Facial hair is a part of many men's identities. Nice, clean, well-groomed facial hair can look great, and some men do take a lot of pride in their beards and moustaches. So much so, that some of these men enter a competition hosted by the World Beard and Moustache Association.
Over the course of three days, several beard and moustache enthusiasts gather to showcase their innovative and creative styles. The contest is held every two years (on odd years only) and attracts hundreds of competitors. This year it was held in Antwerp, Belgium.
